Derek Bradford — USA Beach Volleyball & King of the Beach®

Derek Bradford is an American professional beach volleyball player and member of the USA Beach National Team. The 6’8” California athlete competed at the University of Hawaiʻi before pursuing professional beach volleyball and has emerged as one of the leading young American players on the AVP and Beach Pro Tour. Bradford currently competes internationally with Evan Cory and represents the next generation fof King of the Beach® volleyball for MIRAMAR®.

Volleyball runs in Bradford’s blood — his father, Lee Bradford, was a middle blocker at Pepperdine University, and his mother, Sara, played basketball at Fordham University. His athletic family also includes two sisters and a brother, with his oldest sister, Carissa, having competed in collegiate volleyball at Pacific, Tennessee, and South Alabama. With a strong foundation, diverse athletic background, and a growing presence on the beach scene, Derek Bradford continues to develop into one of the sport’s most exciting young prospects.
