Evan Cory

Born and raised in Louisiana, Evan Cory discovered his passion for volleyball at age 14 while watching his parents play at Coconut Beach in Metairie. What began as a family pastime quickly evolved into a full-fledged career. By 16, Cory was competing indoors and went on to make history as the first male player from Louisiana to earn a Division I volleyball scholarship, joining Lincoln Memorial University. During his standout collegiate career, he shattered nearly every program record — including kills, aces, and digs — and earned All-American honors for his dominant play.

After college, Cory returned to the beach, where his natural charisma, energy, and athleticism quickly made him a fan favorite. Known for his loud, fiery presence and signature blue nose, Cory broke out on the 2022 AVP Tour, reaching finals in Denver and Muskegon, and capturing his first international gold on the NORCECA Tour in La Paz, Mexico. Off the court, Evan brings the same passion to his personal life — grilling up dinners with friends, enjoying the outdoors, and inspiring young athletes to chase their dreams. With his powerful game and larger-than-life personality, Evan Cory is one of the brightest new faces shaping the future of American beach volleyball.
